Hey guys, what do you think should be the maximum in term of number of images, for a photodump?
I'm lucky enough to have a PC that can pretty much take on anything, but I remember when checking porn random pictures on internet before with my old laptop... It could be real slow at times...
So what do you think is the maximum?
(Asking because I went to the Toyota Museum yesterday and well... There is one hell of a dump on the way :) )

Unload the biggest dump you can muster.

I was testing how many pictures I could post. I'm pretty sure it's well over 100. I could post 150ish at once it just took 15 minutes to upload them all.

I usually put 5-10 images in a post, then link to an inbedded flickr slideshow.

Yeah but I like the pictures to be readily available... I personnally rarely click on slideshows... I do however scoll down photodumps easily... Also I want to comment on each picture, a quick history of each car pictured...

I have been working on a license plate dump and have reached mega dump status. Im rethinking my post as it now takes a while to load. was kind of a test of kinja but im sure someone has already exposed its limits so id be better off searching that rather than spending time creating a post that could implode at any moment. But when it comes to actual content dump away.

Cool good to know... I might just do it in 2 or 3 parts to ease the load on that poor kinja :)

Ah. I think it makes it easier, since the slideshow is embedded, all you have to do is click through, and the page doesn't take forever to load. I would split it up into 30-50 photos otherwise.

You could post your favorites and then post a link to an imgur album, or something like that.

Yeah it's alright... It's not instant, but I could browse no problem while it loaded.

From an attention standpoint, I would say 15. After that number you lose the attention of the recipient. Break the post into segments and do it in several posts.
